I am shocked angry and saddened by the way racism prevails on Yahoo answers. How are racists allowed on Yahoo?

I thought this was a place where people from different walks of life share their knowledge and experiences to help each other, atleast that's what was advertised by Yahoo. but everythim I ask a question, I get trollers by the gallon saying anything ranging from hating dark complexioned people to insulting Asians on the basis of gender, caste, creed. For example - would you ever think of obama is a ******? I don't but this is an answer I get frequently no matter what I ask. Worst of all, these people generally get thumbs up ratings from Yahoo themselves and as a result their trolling answers get selected as a best answer. Example- I asked what is the best way to compliment a good looking girl. The answer chosen by voters was "Throw excreta on her face and fart on her mouth and tell her she looked beautiful earlier". How was this answer even allowed in a public forum like this. Worst of all, how did people select it as a best answer? There was a legitimate answer given by few other people but this answer was something uncalled for. Why doesn't Yahoo care about what gets uploaded on their servers?
