My family refuse any babyproofing ("Baby must learn about danger naturally"). Is it better to keep yelling NO?

NO! Now is NOT the time to gamble with your babies life just to teach him a life lesson. BABY PROOF EVERYTHING. My daughter is going to be two in a couple of weeks and I am STILL finding things to baby proof. This is not even a mere matter of baby proofing things so much as child endangerment. Leaving dangerous objects laying around is neglectful at best. Stick to your guns on this one and insist on baby proofing or don't live in/go to that house!
