Can you freeze chopped lettuce?

I tend to make a salad with every dinner. It's my go-to vegetable and you can dress it up or down every time. So I was wondering if you can freeze chopped lettuce? I buy 2 lettuce heads and for some reason, we can go through 1 and 1/2, but I'm always left with some brown chopped lettuce in a ziploc bag. So can it be frozen and is it still good when thawed?
